Develop Leaders Who Can Turn
Capability into Action.
Organisations need managers who can develop people, leaders who can navigate complexity and teams that can work through challenges constructively.
Yet many workplace difficulties persist even when people understand the principles of good leadership. Feedback is avoided. Coaching conversations become instructions. Differences turn into friction. Learning programmes generate enthusiasm but struggle to influence everyday practice.
I work with organisations to address these challenges through leadership development, manager-development programmes, facilitated learning and practical coaching-based interventions. The starting point is always the challenge you want to solve.
The Challenges I Help Organisations Address
Core friction points where knowledge struggles to translate into everyday practice.
Managers who struggle with difficult conversations
Develop the confidence and practical skills to address performance, expectations and differences constructively.
Managers who solve instead of develop
Help managers ask better questions, listen carefully and create more ownership within their teams.
Leaders navigating complexity and change
Create space for leaders to examine assumptions, exercise judgement and consider the human implications of decisions.
Teams that need better conversations
Use structured facilitation to help teams explore differences, improve communication and clarify shared commitments.
Learning that needs to translate into practice
Design development experiences with explicit objectives, realistic exercises and opportunities to apply learning at work.
Signature Programmes
Pragmatic, high-impact learning experiences tested across corporate cohorts.
Feedback That Creates Change™
A practical programme for managers who need to give clearer feedback, address difficult issues and agree on constructive next steps.
Participants practise preparing for feedback conversations, communicating observations, listening to responses and agreeing on actions.
Suitable for: New and experienced managers, team leaders and people managers.
Formats: Half-day or full-day workshop, with optional follow-up practice.
Coaching Conversations for Managers™
A development programme for managers who want to help their people think, learn and solve problems more independently.
Participants practise listening, questioning, exploring options and agreeing on action without immediately taking over the problem.
Suitable for: Managers, team leaders and leaders responsible for developing others.
Formats: Half-day or full-day workshop, or a multi-session development programme.
The Non-Automatable Leader™ Lab
A leadership-development experience exploring the human capabilities that remain important as organisations adopt AI and change how work is done.
Participants examine judgement, curiosity, connection, adaptability and responsibility through relevant leadership scenarios and reflection.
Suitable for: Leadership teams, senior managers and organisations navigating technological or organisational change.
Formats: Half-day or full-day lab, with optional follow-up.
Beyond a Single Workshop
Some challenges can be addressed through a focused learning intervention. Others require time, practice and reinforcement. Where appropriate, we can build a longer programme around the needs identified with the client.
Discovery
Understand the organisational context, target audience and specific workplace challenge.
Design
Agree on learning objectives, programme structure and evidence of progress.
Delivery
Facilitate relevant learning, deep discussion and realistic practical exercises.
Application
Give participants structured opportunities to practise and apply new approaches at work.
Review
Gather feedback and, where agreed, examine application with participants and sponsors.
The scope is agreed in advance. The approach can be adapted to the organisation's requirements, available time and intended outcomes.
The Prajna Framework & Human Quotient
Prajna informs the way I approach development. Its central Human Quotient model brings together five dimensions: Wisdom, Connection, Adaptability, Curiosity and Meaning.
These dimensions offer a framework for examining the human capabilities involved in leadership and work. They are used selectively according to the challenge being addressed. A programme on feedback, for example, may focus on connection, discernment and curiosity. A programme on leadership in changing environments may place greater emphasis on adaptability, judgement and responsibility.
Wisdom
Discernment & sound judgement
Connection
Trust & relational intelligence
Adaptability
Intelligent response to change
Curiosity
Questioning familiar assumptions
Meaning
Aligning action with responsibility
"The framework supports the design of learning experiences; it does not replace an understanding of the client's business or the practical requirements of the role."
How We Evaluate a Programme
The measures depend on the engagement. Before delivery, we agree on what participants should learn or practise and how progress will be reviewed.
A workshop should not be presented as having delivered business impact merely because participants enjoyed it. Where broader organisational outcomes are important, the measures and evaluation method should be agreed with the client.

Let's Discuss Your Priorities
If you are responsible for leadership development, management capability or organisational learning, I would welcome a conversation about the challenge you are addressing. We can explore the context, identify an appropriate starting point and determine whether a focused workshop or a longer programme is the better fit.
